The ultimate goal of both pre & post workout nutrition is to give the body the fuel it needs to get the most out of your workout and the nutrients it needs to replenish and repair after the workout. You want to eat healthy carbohydrates and clean protein before and after your workout. Just like a car, your body will not run without proper fuel. Consider eating protein after your workouts (for muscle repair & lean muscle), foods that have one ingredient (includes Apples, Broccoli, Chicken, Fish & Spinach) & if you want a healthy snack look to eat Beef Jerky, Nuts or Nut Butters.
